As they say: necessity is the mother of invention.
Back in 2011, Bouju CEO David Razavi was Chief Technology Officer of a very successful e-commerce company providing services to various marquee brands. As CTO, David dealt with a persistent issue that was causing these companies millions of dollars: They were being targeted by thousands of counterfeiters at a time. Some counterfeiters were selling infringing goods while others were stealing traffic to trick customers into revealing personal or credit card information. These unauthorized actions were causing the legitimate, high profile brands David worked with to lose customers, money and brand credibility.
David reached out to a few existing companies in the market that claimed to have a software solution to the brand piracy issue. However, he quickly realized that none of these companies offered an efficient, affordable solution for his customers to protect their IP and shut down infringers. The power of data analytics wasn't being tapped, and as a technology expert, David knew that is where the real solutions would lie. That was the start of Bouju.
Bouju's comprehensive software-as-a-service draws from the expertise of a collaborative team of legal and marketing professionals and tech wizards, This cross-disciplinary team has created a product that directly meets the needs of brand warriors across departments. In short, we created the software solution we wished had existed for us. Today, Bouju is used by some of the most high profile brands in the world, and we are excited to partner with companies around the world to protect their IP – and their customers.
Bouju is passionate about applying advanced technology to solve the biggest problems faced by high profile brands in the global online marketplace. Our customers aren't just "customers" to us; the products we protect are part of our lives, too. We know firsthand how difficult it is to build a large, reputable company and valuable intellectual property. We believe these companies – and their consumers - should be protected from unauthorized online counterfeiters diverting traffic and confusing the public.
Your expertise is in creating brands that people care about. Our expertise is in creating technology that gives you new insights and resources that can best protect your market share and brand reputation. We are proud to be a leader in the fight against piracy, infringement, and online market theft, and will continue evolving our products and services to keep you one step ahead.
Bouju's leadership team is comprised of the brightest and most passionate legal, technical, and business minds in the industry. With experience at some of the world's most prestigious data analysis and digital security companies, our executives have designed a software platform that meets and exceeds industry standards at every step.
As a company, we are not interested in helping our customers merely react to brand piracy and attacks by infringers. We are devoted to creating smarter software solutions that give companies a higher level of awareness about counterfeiting and the sophisticated resources to be proactive about protecting their brands and intellectual property.
